Ever since my early days at Looker, I found strange the idea of forcing smart Data people to learn a new proprietary language just so that they could create or fix a visualization in a BI tool.
Coding should be an enabler, not a blocker. Functionalities that can be automated, should be automated with no-code workflows.
Yet, much of that wasn’t possible - that is, until now…
With the emergence of LLMs, I was to apply code generation to fix common nuances and problems in the typical Data stack - tools like Looker and DBT.
