Not an AI, not another Product Demo

Just something I built one morning

Agentic this.. agentic that, but it is nice to one day, wake up before going to a Databricks conference and just vibe code a tool I myself was able to use with people I met at the event.

And, yes, agentic is still hard. Real world products take months to mature. Evals take real expertise to implement. Data clean up is still not trivial, etc etc.

But there is no doubt that we’re moving towards a world of apps that people just build for themselves - no websites, no production-scale needs; just something that works for them, their family, or their team.

For me, this week (more specifically, one Wednesday morning) it was an events connection wrapper around LinkedIn that I’ve dreamed about for ages (tell me you like conference apps and I know you’ve never been to an actual conference).

Not sure if anyone else would need this, but if there is enough interest, I might host it in some very lean way for free at in.social
